Who we are and what we do:

I'm Kathy Marie Thompson, President of Pure Voice Power.ca Singing Lessons, and Pure Voice Power.com for corporate speakers.

I have been a performer for over three decades. While I still actively perform and teach voice, I also book talent for events. You can see my credentials at: http://www.purevoicepower.ca/bio.html , so I won't list them here again.

I started the Kathy Thompson Band in 1988 and we played at private and corporate events for ten years. As a bandleader, I kept my ensemble working as frequently as I could. We enjoyed regular return performances at The Old Mill, golf and country clubs and many other venues in the GTA. Some of my clients included Proctor-Silex, Bulk Barn, Morneau-Coopers Lybrand, The BT Bank of Canada, Ford Motors Oakville, The Quinte Arts Council, and Suzuki Canada.

I have often been asked to contract and coordinate talent, shows and performers for events of friends and colleagues. Occasionally, I receive similar calls from people upon reference and word-of-mouth.

Performers for Charity is a collection of performers who are willing to help your organization by offering their professional services for lower than usual rates, so that your organization can raise much-needed funds for your worthy cause. I deploy volunteers from my base of singing students who perform light assisting duties for experience at their request.

We Want To Help

The performers on my roster want to help. We are like-minded and believe in giving of our talents to benefit worthy causes. We are good neighbours in the community. With the fundraising service I offer here, I have gathered a collection of my talented, professional performing colleagues who have agreed to these terms. We are a generous group and we like to work. We will offer our services to you for your fundraising event at lower than usual prices only if you are a registered charity, and depending on our availability. Each performer has their own confidential reduced rate. I charge a nominal fee for compiling the talent, corresponding, booking, contracting and overseeing logistic performance details. Think of my role as Performance Project Manager.
